Job Description:
We are looking for passionate and energetic Local Sports News Reporters to join our growing media network. Reporters will cover local sports events, tournaments, and player stories across their assigned districts and contribute news for our digital, print, and social media platforms.
This role is ideal for sports lovers who enjoy writing, reporting, and being close to the action on the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cover district, inter-college, and regional sports events.
- Write and publish daily or weekly sports news articles and updates.
- Capture photos and short videos during sports matches and events.
- Conduct interviews with players, coaches, and sports officials.
- Report live updates during tournaments and special matches.
- Share and promote stories on digital and social media platforms.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism / Mass Communication (preferred).
- Excellent communication skills in Hindi and English.
- Knowledge of popular sports such as Cricket, Football, Kabaddi, Volleyball, and Athletics.
- Basic camera handling and smartphone photography skills.
- Self-motivated and willing to travel locally for event coverage.
